VIMUN Morocco 2026

Overview
oices for Impact Model United Nations (VIMUN) is an international diplomatic simulation designed to empower youth to engage with global challenges through structured debate, negotiation, and policy-oriented thinking.

VIMUN provides a rigorous environment where participants explore international governance, global cooperation, and institutional decision-making processes.

The conference combines traditional Model United Nations simulations with learning-oriented activities to develop leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

VIMUN is more than a conference. It is a platform for dialogue, learning, and global responsibility.

Impact that matters

VIMUN is built around issues that shape lives and societies, from public health and education to governance and development. Debate is grounded in reality, encouraging delegates to design solutions that could stand in actual policy spaces, not just in committee roo

Human dignity first

Human rights, equity, and inclusion are at the core of VIMUN’s philosophy. Delegates are challenged to address injustice, protect vulnerable populations, and promote ethical governance through informed and responsible policymaking.

Peace built to last

VIMUN approaches peace as a long-term process rooted in diplomacy, prevention, and institution-building. Delegates explore conflict dynamics, peacebuilding mechanisms, and international security strategies with a focus on sustainable stability.

One planet, shared future

Environmental sustainability is treated as inseparable from social, economic and political questions. VIMUN invites participants to think in terms of planetary stewardship, recognizing that climate, ecosystems and human wellbeing are deeply interconnected.

Growth through learning

VIMUN is also a space to learn: delegates practice research, negotiation, public speaking and drafting in a supportive, international environment. The conference is designed so that both newcomers and experienced participants leave with stronger skills, broader perspectives and meaningful connections.

How VIMUN works
VIMUN keeps the strengths of a classic MUN, but frames them as a learning journey rather than just a simulation.

We bring together intense committee debates, focused negotiation and resolution-drafting in a structure inspired by real UN practice.

Delegates work in depth on global issues, navigate blocs and alliances, and test their arguments in a demanding but supportive setting.

A dedicated workshop component adds something more: time to step back, unpack what happens in the room and translate it into concrete skills.

Participants explore how to communicate across disagreements, think structurally about governance and carry their MUN experience into study, work and civic life.

You leave VIMUN not only with resolutions and speeches, but with sharper tools for leadership, collaboration and impact in the real world
Our Goal
The primary goal of VIMUN is to prepare participants to engage with global governance, diplomacy, and international cooperation.

By combining debate, negotiation, and structured learning, VIMUN aims to foster critical thinking, responsible leadership, and informed global citizenship among young people.
Participation Modalities
Participants at VIMUN can apply as delegates. As a delegate, you will represent a country or entity within a specific committee, engage in formal debate, negotiate with other delegations, and collaborate on drafting resolutions.

Participation is open to individuals interested in international relations, global issues, diplomacy, and policy-making, regardless of previous MUN experience.

Chair and Co-Chair positions are selected internally by the Secretariat.
Special Activities
In addition to committee sessions, VIMUN integrates special activities designed to connect simulation with real-world institutional and civic contexts :

  • Simulated inter-ministerial conference with UN representatives
  • Innovation and Digital Workshop aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Moroccan Civil Society Forum focused on civic engagement and policy proposals

These activities aim to broaden participants understanding of governance beyond committee simulations.
